In order to launch our brand and product we decided to start with OFFLINE MARKETING. One of those ways was to distribute the product from a health food store. There are many health food stores in NYC, there are many brands and products similar to ours in the market place that have been around for much longer. This means it would be hard to convince others health food stores to purchase from us wholesale and also sell at the established retail price that we desire.
However due to the a mutual business and friendship relationship of 6 to 7 years built through the owner of the brand and the owners of Roadhouse Health Foods Market.
They allowed for the owner of the brand to place this product in their health foods store so that It could gain exposure. Since the launch of our brand old and new customers that come to the health food store have seen and bought our product.
In exchange for being able to place our product in their health food store, the owner of the brand has also supplied all the marketing tools for the store.
Printing an A POSTER for their ABOARD and flyers about the product having the health food stores address which takes of some marketing expenses for the health food store. Also running FACEBOOK ADS through the brand page so that people can know to come to the health food store if they are local.
Overall this is one of the basic form of practical group economics that has paved the way for "Bitta Wata" to be able to launch into the market place effectively & generate sales.
